How I work.

I believe healing and change grow from a genuine, compassionate relationship where you feel truly heard and accepted.

I work in a person-centred way, trusting that healing grows from a genuine and compassionate relationship. My work is not about fixing or diagnosing, but about creating a steady space where you can explore your life at your own pace.

Together we take time to understand what you are experiencing, helping you reconnect with your own clarity, strength and self-direction.

The experience I bring

My journey into counselling has grown out of real life. I have walked through seasons of change, grief and transition, and those experiences have shaped the therapist I am today.

I bring a deep respect for the challenges people face and the courage it takes to talk about them. My role is to sit alongside you without judgement or pressure, offering a steady presence as you explore your story.

I believe that no part of our story is wasted. My hope is to bring everything I have learned, personally and professionally, into a compassionate space where you can feel safe enough to be yourself.


Respecting your beliefs and values

My own life is grounded in faith, which shapes the way I understand trust, hope and growth. However, I work with people of all faiths and none, and I deeply respect the beliefs and perspectives that are important to you.

If spirituality is something you wish to explore as part of therapy, we can. If it is not part of your life, that is equally welcome. The focus is always on what matters most to you.

Therapy is your space, and your beliefs, values and worldview will always be respected.


Ways we can work together

Sessions are offered in different ways depending on what feels most comfortable and supportive for you.

One-to-One Counselling

A confidential space where you can speak openly about what is going on in your life and be met with understanding, without judgement or pressure.

My space is currently based in the north of Edinburgh.

Online
Counselling

Online counselling allows us to work together from the comfort of your own space. It offers flexibility and continuity while still creating a meaningful and supportive therapeutic connection.

With online counselling you can be based anywhere.

Walk & Talk
Therapy

Walk-and-talk therapy offers the option of meeting outdoors, walking side by side in a natural setting.

Some people find it easier to talk while moving, and being outside can bring a sense of grounding and spaciousness that feels different from sitting in a room. There is often less intensity in eye contact, and the rhythm of walking can help thoughts flow more freely.

It is still a focused therapeutic session, simply held in a different environment.

A space where you can be yourself. Whether we meet in a room or in nature, the heart of the work is the same: to provide a place where you can feel safe enough to be fully yourself.
